Part 4 - Understanding the Blueprints - Communication

Richard Godsil

In James 1:19 "Understand this, my dear brothers and sisters: You must all be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to get angry."

So often we hear just enough to get our answer ready rather than listening to the whole message.

I used to help my wife finish her sentences in her sharing with me. I believed since I was able to do that, we were finally one in body and spirit! How wrong was I! I learned the hard way that it hurt her and frustrated her because I was not listening when finishing her conversation. I was not "listening" to her. No matter if I was right in my assumption; I did not allow her to share what she wanted to say in her own words.
