Wearing a mask to hide our true feelings


Communication happens when the people to whom we are speaking or listening to feel safe and are allowed to being open. When we feel judged or unappreciated, we tend to wear masks that cover up how we really feel inside. We need to create an environment that will allow honesty and openness in our families so they can share and be listened to. Communication happens.
